Los Uros, Taquile & Amantani From Cusco

Departure and return

Departure 10 pm from Cusco and arrival at approximately 5 am (2 NIGHTS IN BUS AND 1 NIGHT IN LODGING WILL PASS)

THE UROS
We will visit the floating islands of the Uros, ancestral communities located in Lake Titicaca and handcrafted with reeds. During the visit we will learn about their way of life, traditional customs and the cultural importance of this unique environment.

AMANTANI
After lunch, we will head towards the island of Amantani, where we will visit local communities and learn about their traditional lifestyle. We will ascend to the highest point of the island, the Temple of Pachatata (4,200 m a.s.l.), from where we will enjoy panoramic views of Lake Titicaca. Finally, you will stay with a local family.

TAQUILE
After family breakfast, we will gather the group and travel by boat to Taquile Island, two and a half hours across the lake. You will explore Taquile Island and receive an explanation about their lives, culture, typical costumes while enjoying a musical performance in the main square. At 5 pm we will depart by bus back to Cusco.
